Terms

Atlas is a free EXLA experiment for personal travel collections. By using it, you agree to these terms. Contact hello@exla.dev with questions.

Your collection

You decide what counts as a visit. The main country count uses 193 UN member states and two observer states. Other destinations are counted separately. Geographic labels and map boundaries are a practical travel reference, not a statement about sovereignty.

Your content and conduct

Only upload an avatar you have permission to use. Do not impersonate people, harass others, publish unlawful content, automate abusive requests or attempt to access private data. You retain your content and allow Atlas to store and display it according to your visibility settings.

Availability

The service is experimental and may change or become unavailable. Keep an export of information you want to preserve. Travel statistics are based on user entries and are not verified.

Moderation and accounts

We may hide profiles or suspend accounts that misuse the service. You can report a public profile or contact the operator. You can delete your account from Settings.

Geographic data

Map data comes from Natural Earth, in the public domain. City data comes from GeoNames under CC BY 4.0, simplified for this application. The city directory is not exhaustive.
